We're building Save Override. Come help us test it.

We’re a small team of gamers who got tired of losing save files.

Corrupted saves, bad overwrites, games that give you one slot and zero mercy. Moving to a new PC and realizing your 80-hour run is gone. We’ve all been there. We decided to build the tool we wished existed.

What Save Override does

Save Override watches your game save directories and keeps a full version history. Every time a save file changes, it captures a snapshot. You can browse that history and roll back to any point.

Saves sync to the cloud, so they survive reinstalls, hardware swaps, and the occasional moment of poor judgment. It works with any PC game that writes saves to disk — doesn’t matter what launcher or store you use.

It runs in the background. You play your game. We keep history.

Why we’re writing this

Save Override is not ready for a public release yet. But it’s at a point where we need real gamers testing it with real games and real save files. The kind of testing we can’t do ourselves, because we don’t play every game or use every mod setup.

We’re looking for early adopters. People who care about their saves enough to try a tool that’s still being built, and who are willing to tell us when something breaks or doesn’t make sense.

What we’re asking for

If you’re interested:

You don’t need to be technical. You just need to play games and be willing to tell us what works and what doesn’t.

What’s in it for you

Honestly? You get to use the tool early. You get a direct line to the people building it. And you get to shape what it becomes. If there’s a feature you want or a game you need supported, this is how it happens.

We’re a small team. We’re building this because we want it to exist. If you feel the same way, come say hello.
